Actually, it's more complicated than that. It depends on many factors, how do you eat and what do you eat is very important. Do you have an active job, do you take a lot of rest each day, how many hours do you sleep.You should not exercise more than 4 times per week, 2 weight training sessions and 2 cardio. Thus you will have a strong body from inside, cardio makes a strong heart, and from outside, weight training will give you muscles. Every 6 weeks you can take 1 recovery week, just do one session of cardio-weight training exercises in this week.You need to do stretching and warm up exercises before and after your workout, that way you will exercise better.If you exercise much and don't give your body the time to recover, it will be bad for your immunity system and your overall health.

well in my point of view it depends on your body....
if you want to weight loos then u have to workout 5 or 6 days in a week and for youngsters who want's to become a good body builder they have to workout 6 days in a week and one day for body rest....Last edited by rice01; 05-29-2009 at 07:34 PM.
