Get tested, that is the only way to find out for sure. Symptoms may not show up for a long time.

the HIV virus(virus for AIDS) starts ''working'' after 6 months from the day you were infected. wha the virus does is attacking the cells of the body who are responsible for defence. so, the most common symptom is the weakness of the body to cope with simple flu or a cold thta you might catch. then follow more serious diseases. this is why an AIDS infected person dies from these kind of diseases, and not aids itself. because the immune system is all down... go see a doctor, after 6 months are gone. the test will show nothing before that period of time... good luck

Well first you need to have HIV, there are no symptoms for this, and you can go for years without it getting noticed. The only only way to know is through a blood test done at your local sexual health clinic.Next AIDS, no AIDS is just any illness, like the flu or TB that your body cant fight against cause its immune system is down due to the HIV.So here's the order: First you get HIV, which has no symptoms, and then you get AIDS which is just any disease, but your body cant fight against it, so it just gets worse very quickly eg, coughs, vomiting, diarrhea, a rash etc.

If you visited San Francisco and hooked up with an extremely well dressed man then you probably got AIDS.

You can only have aids if you have HIVAnd if you have that, it will show in a blood test, many many people have lived their lives with HIV not knowing for a long time because it is rare to get symptoms untill the HIV turns into AIDS.Aids attacks the immune system making it alot easier for you to get sick, you can only catch it through unprotected sex, and blood to blood contact eg. sharing needles, a bloody sore coming in contact with an infected persons blood. It takes a while to test for HIV if you only just think you have contracted it, I think in Aus it is A blood test after initial contact with a infected person/needle/object. and then another 3-6months later. Go and get tested if you think you have the disease, it is a manageable problem. goodluck.

First of all if you have full-blown aids you will be severely ill... but if you are HIV positive or think you might be HIV positive you shouldn't rely on symptoms just go get an HIV test..
