okay i have a pretty bad cough, a sore throat, a few days ago i got a really bad cold and it is all pretty much better except my cough and throat. i have now lost my voice cold medacins aren't working. what happens if i don't get it treated right away? (my doc doesn't have an available app for about a week) does it matter that i have gym in school tomorrow and will that make it worse? i never had it b4 but 2 ppl in my class who has had it is trying to tell me i prolly do... okay thank for your helpp.s. gross but i have been coughing up like yellowish greenish mucusmy cough can someimes be so bad it wakes me up, since i ahve gotten it i ahve yet to sleep thru the nighti have to go to school tomorrow to take a big test, if i don't i get an automatic zero

Could be brochitis or even strep throat. I would advise against going to gym class and getting all hot and sweaty as this could make it worse. If you can't get an appointment with your doctor within the next few days go to the nearest emergency room. The sooner this is treated the better.

Wow! I have been through the ups and downs of nose and lung sicknesses and it sounds like you have something going on! The longer you go with out being treated the worse it will get. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND going to the doctor. Don't listen to those kids in your class. I would get plenty of water (It does wonders), and lots of rest! I wouldn't go to school tomorrow if I were you. Remember to go to the doctor!

Okay, go to school. But please take a big hankie to cough into and cover your mouth with.Have a parent write a note for you to stay out of gym class tomorrow. It could make you worse.Yes, it sounds like a bad cold, laryngitis and probably bronchitis.Stay warm, get lots of rest, and drink plenty of liquids.Sometimes 'cold capsules' from the store can help you feel better but can't cure the infection.If you become worse or have a fever, have someone take you to the E.R., if your doc refuses to see you.Hope you feel better soon, sweetie.
