will asthma kill me???

i've a strong feeling that my cause of death will be an asthma attack. :(i'm being on medications.i follow the rules,and still it's being out of controlcan someone say anything that could help plz???can i grow out of this altough i've been having it since i was 3 or 4?im19 now

I understand that you can worry a lot. But you just have to live your life to its fullest. Because your otherwise only going to be living to the extent of your asthma.

my sister has had asthma for a while... ive seen all her attacks.. shes ok and she has an illness on top of that, just remeber to stay clam breath steadily, and have ice water it always helps her... good luck feel better

Go back to your asthma doc/GP/specialist/whoever you see usually. Have you had blood tests for allergies? Your asthma needs to be brought under control. It's not right that you can't control it. Take regular readings of your peak flow and record them on a graph, and keep a diary of when you have an attack. You won't die though. Your doc won't let you get that sick. Hope you feel better soon!

i dont think you will die of an asthma attack- i had one when i was like in the second grade, and i lived- i still have asthma, but it doesnt act up anymore like it used to- i feel like i have been cured even tho i guess i still have it- im on medication too- i take singular every night, but if i dont take it sometimes, im just normal- i nvr use my puffer anymore either- y do u have a strong feeling u will die b.c of an asthma attack?- is your asthma very serious? i say stop worrying about it, and take care of yourself- also go see your doctor and tell them how you are feeling♥

Fear is the greatest disease of all .... See there are 2 million asthma patients every year in America . Though asthma can have serious psychological effects on patienst , u need will power to fight ur disease along with along with proper medicationa nd treatment .. Asthma is just the narrowing of air way which causes difficulty in breathing ... Just keep ur environment open and clean .... u can fight it , u r not the only one ......
