it's not the breast cancer itself that makes a person lose their hair...it's the chemotherapy...

Only if you are having chemotherapy.

No honey. Its the chemotherapy for cancer that causes hair loss. But not to worry, because after the completion of the chemo, the last load will be vitamins that will make the hair grow back. Often times, the new hair growth is fuller, thicker, richer, healthier hair. That's a promise. Mine did.

Breast cancer itself doesn't make you loose your hair. But some therapies such as chemotherapy will make hair loss."chemotherapy is an effective treatment for many women, it is associated with a number of well-known and traumatic side effects, such as hair loss, and exhausting bouts of nausea and vomiting, which many patients find difficult to tolerate. "(source:http://www.smile.org.au/cancers/breast%20cancer.htm)I suggest you to visit "www.smile.org.au" which provides you a huge database about the symptoms, effects, preventions of cancers, as well as a range of therapies.

If you get chemotherapy. You don't lose it from the cancer it is from the treatment.
