new born babies get many rashes, most of them are just fine and nothing to be concerned about. If it seems to spread or she runs a fever call your pediatrician. otherwise I would not worry too much.

Babies change so fast. If she gets more over the course of the day, call the doctor or nurse and ask. If they go away, it's nothing.Or, you could ask yourself if (a) she's too hot, or (b) you've changed laundry detergent or fabric softener or something, or (c) you've eaten a huge quantity of some common allergen, like strawberries.Babies do get rashes, and most of them are from some simple thing, not illness. (Even teething, though doctors often swear it won't have any effect.)

Baby acne. If it's not gone in two days then see your doctor. My child (15 months) tends to wake up once a month with a new rash and/or dots. They usually dissapear within one or two days.

My daughter had some skin issues when she was born. My doctor told me that sometimes it takes months for maternal hormones to clear out of the system...that is why babies can get baby acne up to 4 months. Also, it could mean that she has a virus. Keep a check on her temperature. If she comes down with a fever I would take her in, or if the spots start to spread. Good luck!

baby acne, heat rash, allergic reaction to laundry detergent. thats my guess :)
