My 3 year old boxer has blood in her urine?

I realize I have to go to the vets A.S.A.P. but I would like to know if anyone would know the cause. I would assume an infection but she did not have blood in her urine first thing this morning but does during her last two pees. Any ideas as to what is going on?As I have already said, I WILL BE GOING TO THE VETS WITH HER FOR A CHECK OF HER URINE!SHE WAS SPAYED AT 8 MONTHS OLD.

it sounds like a urinary tract infection. she will need meds.

This might sound silly and may not even be the problem, but she might be in heat and having her dog period. Check with your vet for a definitive answer.

She may have something wrong with her intestines. possibly a urinary track infection. Hope your dog is feeling better.

UTI is most likely, but there is also a possibility that something is damaging her kidneys aside from that. It would be best when you DO go to the vet, to have them do a blood panel to make sure nothing internally is going on besides a possible and very likely infection. In the meantime, be sure that she drinks plenty of water.

hey - i have boxers - fab breed!!sounds like she has cystitus - 7 day course of antibiotics shud clear it up - its not an emergency tho - leaving her until 2moro will be fine - just make sure she drinks plenty of water and can relieve herself often

your dog is having its period all u have to do is buy a dog dipper and put a pad in it
