http://www.straitstimes.com/Latest+News/Asia/STIStory_203413.html According to sources, some hundreds of bibles were seized. The ministry gave the excuse that they were vetting the centuries year old book.Do you think that perhaps the malaysian government wants to learn more about christianity and convert to become christians instead since islam and muhammad failed them for so many years.

This is too much! The hell with religious tolerance and all those crap claimed by the government and media. Its all a big, bogus propaganda to win the votes of non-Muslims (and non-Malays).I'm working in KLIA and I can reassure you that there's NO SUCH procedures as it violates the constitution and the law itself. Its not even the SOP for security or customs to confiscate other people's religious materials (as quoted in the press).

I dun understand lah.. if the christians can flush the quran down the toilet, what makes it soo sinful for the Muslim to seize the bible?? not like they did anything bad to it..

lolthis is ridiculousi can get a bible if i wanted to and i've already read it out of curiositydo you honestly think us malays would convert just by reading it..we can think and we're pretty smart, you knowso, that acquisition is just ridiculousall i can say is that i believe in Islam and the Quraan more then ever especially after learning about other religions and i encourage every malaysian to go learn about each other's faithmaybe then you'll learn to respect someone else's faith in the question of faith and religion, its never 'my way or the highway',i don't diss other people's faith no matter what i think of it.so,i aspect people would do the samelearn some RESPECT ok
