Unfortunately you can die from any cancer. BUT cervical cancer today is SO easily treated when caught early. I wish you and your Mom the BEST OF LUCK!!

Sadly to say...yes 4000 women per year die from it..but I don't want to scare you..it is very possible for her to recover totally. Pray, help keep her calm and not stressed, healthy and you shouldn't have to worry.Good luck.

Just like all cancers yes. It all depends on how early they caught the cancer. The earlier the better chance she has. The doctors will be able to determine how bad the cancers is and what stage your mother is in. Stage 1 is early stages of cancer stage 4 is deadly. Good luck I'm here if you need to talk.

I am a nurse, plus I have a friend that is a survior of cervical cancer. Your question is very vague. In general yes anyone can die of any kind of cancer. Will your mother die? With out all the information it is hard to say. The sooner they catch the disease the better the chance of survival. It is important that your mother consult her OB-GYN, and Oncologist. They may be able to treat with chemo and radiation, or she may need to have surgery such as a hysterectomy to remove the cancer. As I said I have a friend who I graduated HS with (I only graduated 11 years ago) that is a survior, all though she had to have a hyterecotomy she is living a healthy normal life. I hope that anwsered your questions.

I believe a person can die from any form of cancer. I have leukemia (blood cancer). This earthly life is uncertain, and we can die from all kinds of diseases and accidents. Jesus died on the Cross to save us from condemnation, and qualifying us to Heaven. Heaven is wonderful beyond descriptions, and forever without end. Never, never, miss Heaven for anything of this troubled world. With God on your side, you can face any kind of situation without fear!

Yes. BUT if caught early, it can be successfully treated. Also - most (but not all) cervical cancers are caused by a virus! That is the HPV (human pampoloma virus). There is a test for it AND a vaccine if you don't have it. Please check this out. My sister was on the research team that discovered this, so I know it is a fact. Please tell your Mom that many people are praying for her and YOU should get checked for the HPV virus and if you don't have it GET VACCINATED! If you do have the virus NEVER skip your PAP test (the virus is sexually transmitted). The estimated number of women who have the virus is very high. I don't know the exact statistic but it is over 50% for sexually active females (no matter what age!)I am so sorry that you and your Mom have to go through this. I, too, have fought this disease, and if it's any encouragement at all, I beat it. I pray the same outcome for your Mom.
