HEPATITIS C, FROM HER BIRTH MOTHER. wHAT DO i DO? She was adopted from Russia at age 6. After going for a work physical we learned she was positive for Hep c. She works in a Dr.'s office. She has no symptoms and lives a healthy lifestlye. We are in shock.

How do you know that she got it from her birth mother? It seems like a long time has passed since birth to now! If she works in a doctor's office, she could have been exposed to Hep C by a needlestick injury. Unfortunately, there isn't much you can do about Hep C. It sometimes goes away in people spontaneously. There are no antivirals for it, and we can't even prevent it in the first place, because there is no vaccine. Maybe a better thing to campaign for would be safer needles for medical staff. They are more expensive, but they will keep our health workers safe.
