What causes this bumpy skin and what can I do about

it..? Ive got these tiny bumps on my arms..mostly on the underneath from my elbow halfway to my wrist..they look like tiny ingrown hairs or just the folicles/pores are raised..and on the tops of my arms from my shoulders to my elbow I have tiny spots..they look like tiny whiteheads or sometimes just tiny red spots . Ive asked someone about them and they said its caused by dry skin..cause it looks like acne but not really since they dont really turn into pimples and are the size of pen dot..but if they do get slightly bigger they have a little bit of a white head or ingrown hair...I never use to have this and just in the last couple years have got it..I wondered if it had anything to do with gaining weight since I have a two year old and I gained alot of extra weight with that pregnancy..Ive been working on losing it but my arms are still alittle flabby..would it be this or something else? Thanks

i think ur talking about chicken skin. (not the proper name but the common name) start wearing tank tops more. your skin needs air your pores are probably cloggged (even though they're not pimples) so just pay a little bit of extra attention when taking a shower and washing ur arms and air out your skin more. if it continues you might want to consult a doctor

i have it too! i just read this in the latest issue of Glamour magazine. "Half of us have keratosis pilaris, a condition marked by bumpy "chicken skin". "Dead skin plugs follicles, creating bumps"...................To get rid of it dont scrub it, the skin will get rougher. Simple dissolve it with a good lotiong
