Im 22 yrs old and lately I've been having really bad pain on my ankle joints, both of them. It hurts to even walk, I dont know what it could be since Im still young. The pain is getting to the point that it even bothers me when Im sitting still. What could it be? Should I worry, its been 3 weeks and it wont go away, I cant even excersice anymore!

This could be anything.First you need to ask yourself, have you, or did you do anything unusual?, think back, did you overdo anything. What about the shoes you wear?, have you ever had joint pain in the past.I suggest that if within the next week it doesn't get any better go to the doctor.Check out NHS Direct's health encyclopedia. It MAY be arthritis. I know you're only 22, but i'm 21 and i have arthritis (osteoarthritis, so they say) all the way down my spine, from top to bottom, aswell as in both my hips. However don't jump to conclusion with arthritis, because it may not be, arthritis is serious, it is a cronic long term, degenerative incurable condition, and if sadly you do have it, there's not much that can be done, particularly because of you're age.JUTS PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU KEEP MOVING, BECAUSE THAT ALL THE PHYSIO WILL SAY, WHATEVER YOU DO DON'T BECOME STATIC.If you wan to to talk, or want to find out more, or a just a little confused, just e-mail me, and i can tell you more.
