let's say a grandfather has it. your parents do not. will you get it because it "skips" a generation???

It may be heriditary, but anyone can be an Alcoholic. Just watch yourself for the signs and be careful.

Depends on your choice to drink or not. Just because your father or even your grandfather drinks doesn't mean you will automatically become a drunk just because you are their child.

that is really up to you. if you decide that you are gonna start drinking then, there you go you'll become an alcoholic. i mean its not like we are talking about colored eyes or something. we are talking about something that you can chose to do or not to do.
