Positive thinking, positive energy, an optimistic approach. Do you believe in it? Can it really cure some diseases? I do not know but somehow I do believe in it, at least you can turn a bad situation into something better.

I think that positive thinking can decrease anxiety allowing the body to heal or fight disease. Personally, I always try to turn bad situations into something better- but that's just the way I roll. Life is too short to swell in negativity.

Definitely positive thinking enhances your well being. It can help you manage stress which is detrimental to health. Positive thinking is a positive energy. Having a positive outlook in life makes life more enjoyable and self fulfilling.

Positive thinking definitely helps, as for curing a diseases I'm not sure, but it can help you cope with it. President FDR could not walk, and due to positive thinking he was still able to be a strong leader. He set up his house in a way that he did not need to walk and he could get around with no one's help. He was able to live with his condition, and he accomplished it through positive thinking, if he had went into a bad state of mind he would of not been able to cope with it, and had a worst lifestyle.

Positive thinking is definitely a good thing as it make you have hope the whole time. The danger is when you rely on that too much and get really shot down when it fails.

There is what we called cognitive behavioural psychotherapy where the therapist will look at the negative, automatic thinking patterns and will try to help you to think in more positive way. So positive thinking does help your mental health.
