TB Meningitis is a very serious infection. It must be treated aggresively since it does not take long before somebody can die of it. It presents with seizure which must also be addressed. The primary infection must be treated as well. TB meningitis is what's avoided when we get our BCG vaccination at birth and again at age 7. In third world countries, TB is not yet erradicated so the infants born in these countries should still get BCG vaccine.
