Is bronchitis contagious?

I took my daughter to the doc yesterday and they diagnosed her with and ear infection and bronchitis, gave us some antibiotics and cough suppressent. and dumb me forgot to ask if it was contagious to others, I have a doc appt today and she needs to go a few hours to the sitter, but if its contagious I need to cancel?

bronchitis is NOT contagious.

Yes it is. But the good news is she want be contagious for long with the antibiotics. It can be caused by viral or bacterial infections. It got passed around my office never thought it would end.
