My mother has a white west highland terrier full bred dog that has had type 2 diabetes for a few years now. Just a month ago she had a bladder infection and took her to the vet and they tested her and gave her some meds to cure it. Now a month later she urinates and its normal the first round of pee then she goes again and its a little amount but all blood. Is this a sign her kidneys are failing her or just need a stronger med? Sugar, the dog, has been on insulin since she was diagnose with type 2 diabetes. She gets her 2 shots a day religiously. Please if anyone can help me help my mother let me know some serious suggestions or ideas. She is taking her to the vet on Monday. Thanks alot
