...would be best for him? Also potty training question....? My toddler has asthma and we would like him to be active. What is the best sport for toddlers that are not too demanding that an asthmatic child would be able to do?? Also, he will use the potty when at daycare, but at home he refuses...solutions???

The asthma thing, probably anything that's not outdoors as much. So probably basketball, if they have that for toddlers. The pollens and grasses tend to activate the asthma, that's why. At home, potty training - have you tried a reward system? Make a chart with happy faces and give him a little toy when he's filled an entire week. Something small though. But that he'll want to earn.

I would try diffrent acctivities to see if it sets off his asthma and if it does then I wouldnt do it. For my daughter the weather changes set her off not so much with beig active so I guess it depends on the child. As for the potty training all I can think of is let him walk around in his underwere fro a while and once he uses it on his self a couple of time then hopfully he will get the point. Or try to put him on there more oftenIs there a reward that he gets at daycare for using the potty? IF so then try the same system. What ever works.

I found a site that can maybe help you. Go to the section that says Treatment through lifestyle changes. There is also other information that could benefit you.
