...cancer until the vaccine came out? I always knew there was a "cancer for everything" so the fact that a cancer of the cervix exists isn't the shock, it's the fact that everyone is freaking out about now, since this vaccine came out! I got it out of my own will but what's with all these "I wanna be one less..." as if it's some unstoppable epidemic that's going to kill us all? We never learned about it in school when they taught about sex/STDs (which wasn't too long ago for me) and suddenly it's rampant and insta-death?

How old are you? Have you ever had a pap test? If you have, you should have known that cervical cancer was what they were testing for.

Because it wasn't much in the news. But if you were a bit older you would have heard of it when you went for your physical exams and the doctor told you that you needed a Pap smear test.
