Not truly genetic but studies have shown that the offspring of an alcoholic has a greater than average propensity to become one.Who thumbed this down? you ignorant cretin, its the correct bluddy answer moron.

There does seem to be a trend in families who have alcoholism in them. It doesn't always show up in every generation - but you can see it over and over again.

No, because i am worst than my ancestors. :)But i do not think so, we can always turns a good guy to become alcoholic even if he's not.
