I have no idea what I have and the clinic is closed. I've been coughing like crazy the past two weeks straight and each time I breathe, especially on exhale, I feel a small vibration or tickling feeling in my chest, until I cough again and whatever it is loosens up and disappears for a bit. The feeling usually comes back until I cough again, and my coughs get so bad to where I feel a sharp pain between my shoulder blades, like I'm dry heaving. I don't have nasal symptoms, aside from waking up with a stuffy nose this morning, but that's been it this past two weeks. I looked 'bronchitis' and 'upper respiratory infections' on Wiki and after looking at a diagram, the vibration feels like it's coming from where the bronch passage meets the lung. I'm not medical though, so I have no idea. Anyone have any ideas?Ah yes. Okay, no nasal symptoms like runny nose, no fever or body aches of any kind. Just the cough and that vibration in my chest on occasion. I'm not coughing up mucus now, but sometimes I'd have to spit out something translucent yellow and slimy. I started smoking again, and I've been a light smoker for the past year, but this cough started almost a week before I bought my first pack in two months. I'm back and forth with smoking. Also I'm serving overseas and I just arrived in the desert about three weeks ago. I'll be going to the clinic tomorrow morning. Thanks for the help everyone.
