...legs, not muscle or joint, anyone ever heard of this? I'm not a hypochondriac but I haven't been able to sleep all night because the pain is so severe. Anyone ever heard of this happening? PS I've been on Steroids this week for a bad poison oak reaction, could that be related?I'm an athlete, I know what pain is, but when it's too the point that you are crying the entire night and can't stand up, something else is wrong than cramps buddy...

It could be a blood clot. Go to or call the dr. asap.

It could be sciatica or a trapped nerve. The sciatic nerves run from bum down leg and pain is v sharp and sore - especially when you put your foot down.go to doctors or a physio.

you could have a blockage in your arteries. I also had severe leg pain and the cause was the iliac artery was 90% blocked so they had to put a stent in the arterie, see a vascular surgeon and get a dopler and ultra sound to determine if you have a blockage, it is worth checking out.
