I used to have severe pimples on my face but now, it seems to have healed a little but it left many "Dark spots" on my face and there are still a few pimples left. I am 17 years old. Should I see a dermatologist and have my skin Diamond Peeled or something? My father told me not to see a dermatologist because it is normal in my age to have pimples... The problems is, the left over pimples... What do you think? Should I see a dermatologist?
If you burst them, it can leave scarring on your face. Yes, you should see a dermatologist, because the chances are these won't just go away.

No, just wash face good and rinse with hot and then cold water and then put aloe vera gel on face.your scars will fade by time u finish high school
Yea, unless you have no problem in putting your moms make up on it.. is it red from those spots? if it is, try putting some ice on it, it would make the redness go away.hope this helps

it may not be a problem, but to make sure you should see a dermatologist. just in case you would probably not want to have scarring on your face. the doc will tell you what to do. good luck.

Natural Herbal acne Home remedy : • Wash your face with lukewarm water and mild soap twice a day. • Wash fresh methi leaves (fenu greek leaves) and grind it to make a paste. Apply it on face and wash it off with lukewarm water after 10 minutes.• Grind juicy tender neem leaves with turmeric to a consistency of paste. Apply this paste on acne and pimples. Wash this off after it dries.• Apply a face pack of ripe tomato pulp and wash it off as soon as it dries naturally (preferably after 45 minutes) .• Do not keep the make up while sleeping. Cleanse it with a mild herbal cleanser. • Mix besan flour (gram flour) with rose water and apply a face pack.• Consuming fresh vegetable salads and fresh fruits keeps the skin healthy and resistant to blemishes.• Drink plenty of water (15 glasses a day)
The post-inflammatory changes caused by acne are part of the skin's natural healing process. There are certain practices and medications that can help facilitate this healing process. * Unprotected exposure to the sun causes more skin damage and delays healing, therefore wearing a good sunscreen is important. * Using tretinoin (Retin-A, Renova, Avita) speeds up the skin's remodeling process and helps heal post-inflammatory changes. * Appropriate formulations of Alpha-Hydroxy Acids (AHAs) and Beta-Hydroxy Acid (BHA) that contain the correct concentrations and are at the appropriate pH also help the skin's remodeling process. * Picking at scabs should be avoided at all costs. Scabs form to protect the healing process that is going on underneath them. Pulling a scab off before it is ready interferes with the healing and remodeling process, prolonging the time that post-inflammatory changes will be visible.

well a dermatologist would be helpfule because they could give you very good advice and ussually they can pinpoint the problem...but to be honest...im only 18 and ive never hardly had much acne problems...and my girlfrien always asks me why i dont break out...ive been told that if you jus get a rag with as hot as you can stand water on it and just dab it on yourr face....n not use any kind of soap or anything then it works the best...and thats all i ever do..i never use soap or anything...i just put reallly hot water on it and the warmth draws it to the surface...but i think make up has a lot to do with girls.and ive also been told that if you put tooth paste on a pimple or ur acne before you go to bed it will dry it out....jus make sure u rinse it off in the morning...but yeah them are the best pointers i can give ...but my advice is jus watch wutever goes on your face and your dad is right it is normal for ur age....but also a dermatologist wouldnt hurt....but gl and i hope everything works out for you!
