any remedies for cold/allergies?

I have nasal congestion right now and a sore throat. any suggestions on what I should/ could do to at least temporarily get rid of or minimize the symptoms?thank you :]

try taking allergy meds. and stay away from the thing you are allergic to.

An otc decongestant (pseudoephedrine if you can get it) and benadryl (diphenhydramine, also present in Tylenol PM) will help. For the sore throat, try taking tylenol or ibuprofen.
