...allergies......(anyone who knows about aromatherapy please help!!!)? Some strong incenses gives me bad allergic reactions, like coughing or feeling dizzy. I've never used incense very much, but the few times I was in a place where incense was burning, I felt very sick. Some people have mentioned special incense to me; incense that is ok for people with allergies. Does anyone know a brand or type of incense that wouldn't bug me? Thanks for your time, *Tiger-lily Rain*

Different people react to different things, and it would be impossible to say what would work for you, without further information. For example lavender, which is generally considered soothing, gives me a bad headache, but is fine and works for most people. I also suffer from asthma, and find that strong smells, even if I like them, can make me cough. Even someone else's perfume can do it.You may have to go with trial and error, and in your case, don't use a lot of anything at once, go for a more subtle effect, rather than an overpowering one. You may then find you can use most anything, just as long as its not too strong. And if you do come across anything that does react, avoid it, and its blends, the next time.

I find incenses irritating and I don't have allergies. You could try to use natural eucalyptus if you don't want the per fumy smell from candles or air fresheners.
