Oh boy, here's a new story. Okay, born in USA, but lived for 8 yrs in Mex, I got a shot on my arm for TB. Not a test, but like any other shot..I guess so you don't get TB. When I came to USA, my brothers and I took the TB test that you take here, and turned out positive. We took medication for 6 months, I can't remember well, then I started having problems with my stomach/esophagus which lead to my gastritis. Anyways, I finished the medication and 6 years later, I'm in 10th grade and just started Health class. My question is, is there any dangerous possibilities for me to get TB in the future? I don't understand why Mex gives the TB shot, and USA doesn't. Is this dangerous?Wow, only one answer? I knew this was a tough question...

I am not aware of any TB vaccine. But- let me forward your info to the state gov program director for TB. Maybe he can answer it.
