I have a Boston Terrier that is 7 months

old. His eyes are red but do not seem to bother her. Is this normal? I have a 7 month old Boston Terrier and her eyes are red. There is no sign of Cherry eye and they do not seem to bother her. I was told to wash her eyes. How often should I do this and with what? I have been using a slightly warm washcloth. Thanks She is a sweetie and I want to take good care of her but do not want to panic and run to the vet with something that is normal.

Are you talking about the white part? If so they may be irritated, Do you smoke that would irritate her eyes. Also if she has pink eye you should see a Dr. But in the mean time you can use a solution of 1 teaspoon fof Boric Acid added to 1 quart of water and wash her eyes. It is very soothing. does not burn

this is not normal,i would take her to vet. she may have allergies or an eye infection. the vet. is best to tell you what to use to wash her eyes and can give you any medication needed. i'm sure you want to keep her eyes healthy. good luck
