I already told my recruiter that i had no medical problems, and telling meps that i had asthma that time as a child wont effect me will it?for US ARMY! HOOAH!

I had asthma when I was 12 and 13, and I enlisted at 18. I told my recruiter about it and he said don't worry about it because it had been 5 years since my last asthma attack. In basic I got my run down to 13 minutes and didn't have one breathing problem. So my advice is don't tell them or you will have to go before a medical review board and get a medical waiver which can delay your enlistment up to 6 months.

No this will not affect your enlistment. Talk to your recruiter about it though.SSG SchrammUS Army 15 yearsOIF 2003US Army Recruiter 3 years running in Texas

Don't even think about going to boot camp. You could tell the people who lied about asthma by the ambulance that was picking them up every night.
