my cat is loseing her hair what can i do?

should i be worried about her ? i have a puppy to will this hurt him ?

hmm...i personally cant see this being a problem.if the cat is elderly then it will loose hair just like humans.but it could be many reasons ie diet and stuff...if your that worried get her to the vet =]

You should be worried. Hair loss of any animal is a sign of pests or malnutrition or just shedding their coat. Try changing your cats diet and see what happens in a week. If not, try grooming their fur with a comb to see if has any fleas. Or just brush of the excess fur.

I had a pet store recommend brewers yeast tablets w/garlic to me for a kitty that had been diagnosed with anxiety issues etc. due to what appeared to be over grooming. Long story- anyway started giving 3 tablets a day. I break them in half and he eats them like treats!! Pet Store guy told me his hair would be back in 2 weeks and his fur has grown back in!!!!!!!!

oh thanks isaacs yea i did exactly what you said, one of my friend also suggested me the same and i tried and now hair fall has decreased and she is doing good.
