Some of my brothers kids were playing kind of rough with my cat Thomas. Hes about 6-8 months old. One kid threw him to the floor and i got mad to i told them to leave. Thomas just laid on the floor not moving at all. usually he would run away.his breathing sounded weird too. I picked him up and stood him up. Instantly he fell to his left. i tried numerous times and he would not stand. when i touched his lower back he meowed. He never meows! I gave him food and water and he ate laying down. Then about 30 min later he got up , jumped off of the couch and limped about 1 meter and fell again. i noticed that he could not walk on his left back leg. We dont have a vet in town. and the closest vet is a 8 hour drive away. the road there is a freakin death trap. Is it safe to wait for a while and see if he will get better? our should we just leave town and go to the vet asap? i know its a stupid question, and we should just go to the vet. but i want to know how serious it is. please help.
