Does heat make asthma worst?

My roommate has asthma and he believes that blasting the heat will prevent him from being sick ever since it started getting cold. I dont have a problem with the heat but all he does, 24/7, is sneeze, cough and hag. I rarely ever get sick and its like he's trying his best to get me sick. Am a wrong for thinking that sitting inside a 80 degree room with the windows shut and a guy sneezing all the time only makes things worst.

It makes things worse. Gosh, he should know that. Listen to your body. Just a normal heat makes it easier to breath. It would be different if he was in the hot dry heat of the desert, that is easy to breath in. Turn the thermostat down and good luck!

Dry heat will irritate his airway more than moist heat and will make it worse.Sitting in the room with him coughing and sneezing may make you worse.
