If someone who does not have Hep C uses a syringe and then, a week or so later, uses it again (on themself) without cleaning or sterilizing it properly, can they contract it.?thank you both for your concern but i assure you that 'I' am NOT the person in question here. I want to know if 'Hep C' and only 'Hep C' can form in non-infected blood by itself.

Hep C is the least of your worries. If your diabetic, get fresh needles for each use. If your using drugs, STOP IT. I can't begin to tell you what kind of infections your setting yourself up for with a used/dirty needle.

Hep C infection is a blood to blood thing. If you do not have HCV and you are the only one using the needle, it's not just going to materialize on the needle. That being said, "just say no!"

I have not examined all the ways, in which Hepatitis C canbe contracted, but it is a Highly Contagious Disease, andin my opinion, it can be contracted...many ways.I know that it doesn't take a very long gestation period, before a person, can be deathly ill, and I am certain of this. One woman, who had been a survivor of cancer, beforegoing to prison, contracted Hepatitis C, and within months, she was on her death bed, and I was instrumental, in gettingher out of prison, so she could spend her last 3 weeks oflife with her 10 yr. old daughter, who lives in the communitywhere I live. All of us got to realize, how important LIFE really is, andhow valuable, it is TO KEEP THIS ASSET, by avoidingsituations...where we are suseptible, to contracting anyContagious Disease !!!Do Practice Safe SEX !!
