Ok so i need some opinions on abortion1. Is it ok for a woman to have an abortion when the baby poses risks to her life?2. What about a rape?3. What time is a child a child? Thanks! I am mostly looking for pro-life opinions but you can still answer if you are pro-abortion.i meant pro-choice, not pro-abortion. :-)

Life begins at conception. Did you know, that a pregnant mother can see the fetus' heartbeat at about 6 weeks? Abortion is nothing more than murder of someone that does not have a say so in the matter. Why don't you do some research into the ways abortions are conducted. Did you know that the way fetus' are aborted include:Suction-aspiration: In this method, the abortionist must first paralyze the cervical muscle ring (womb opening) and then stretch it open. This is difficult because it is hard or "green" and not ready to open. He then inserts a hollow plastic tube, which has a knife-like edge on the tip, into the uterus. The suction tears the baby’s body into pieces. He then cuts the deeply rooted placenta from the inner wall of the uterus. The scraps are sucked out into a bottle (see color photo in back of book). The suction is 29 times more powerful than a home vacuum cleaner.- Dilatation & Curettage (D&C): This is similar to the suction procedure except that the abortionist inserts a curette, a loop-shaped steel knife, up into the uterus. With this, he cuts the placenta and baby into pieces and scrapes them out into a basin. Bleeding is usually profuse. After the 16th week. A large needle is inserted through the abdominal wall of the mother and into the baby’s amniotic sac. A concentrated salt solution is injected into the amniotic fluid. The baby breathes and swallows it, is poisoned, struggles, and sometimes convulses. It takes over an hour to kill the baby. When successful, the mother goes into labor about one day later and delivers a dead baby.Second Trimester:A pliers-like instrument is used because the baby’s bones are calcified, as is the skull. There is no anesthetic for the baby. The abortionist inserts the instrument up into the uterus, seizes a leg or other part of the body, and, with a twisting motion, tears it from the baby’s body. This is repeated again and again. The spine must be snapped, and the skull crushed to remove them. The nurse’s job is to reassemble the body parts to be sure that all are removed. Third Trimester:This is like a breech delivery. The entire infant is delivered except the head. A scissors is jammed into the base of the skull. A tube is inserted into the skull, and the brain is sucked out. The now-dead infant is pulled out. So no, I don't believe in abortion for ANY cause. I don't think abortion is o.k. at any time. If someone was raped they really need to go talk to somebody about that. When a female first conceives that's a child because o me the baby is always growing so it's alive.

There is a girl from my church that is the daughter of a rape victim... It's extremely sad, but she is really glad her mom saw her as a life and didn't abort her.I believe a life is a life when the sperm fertilizes the egg. My fiance and I will only have an abortion if it poses a serious risk/chance of death to me and the child. I am very strong against abortion. I don't believe women have the right to terminate a life, just because they don't want to take care of it. No doctor would take off a woman's arm, because it's her body, her choice, and she doesn't want it. How is that any different with a living child in you? There are long waiting lists for families that desperately want a child. I'm all for adoption, I just wish it was as easy as abortion is.

1. I Dont Thin Kits A Matetr Of If Its Ok Or Not. Thats Something Every Person Had To Decide By Themselves According To The Situation. If The Pregnancy Poses A Risk To The Mothers Life, Then She Has To Decide If This Is Worth It. And Thats Not To Say A Child Would Be Worth It Or Not. I Personally, Having Other Children Already, Would If It Threatened My Life Bc I Need To Eb Here For My Children That Are Living And Breathing But It Depends On The Situaiton. And I Have Yet To Meet Someone Who Was Happy About Having To Make This Decision.2. I Could Not Have A Child Out Of Rape But I Hold Alot Of Respect For Women Who Can And Have. And I Coudnt Adopt Out Bc I Dont Know That I Would Ever Want Another Little Perosn To Know That That Is How They Were Brought Into The World. But I Would Have To Be In That Situation To Make A Accurate Decision.3. I Do Not Know What Technically Makes A Fetus A Child. Its Different In Every State And Country. In My Opinion I Think Inthe Firts Few Weeks, Its Not A Child Yet. But, I Really Dont Like Questions Like These.who Knows What's Rioght Or Wrong. I Dont. I Just Know That Im Happy I Live Somwhere Where I Am Free To Make My Own Choices With My Body Whether I Agree With Abortion Or Not.good Luck!

I agree with it opening a whole can of worms. people can get very opinionated on this subject and in my opinion, every person and every sitution is completley different. im prochoice therfore i believe whatever the situation, the woman was the right to decide the rest of her life, and only she can decide this.

An abortion is the death of a possibility. Not all possibilities can come into being - that is the nature of life itself - but we can still allow ourselves to mourn and grieve while upholding absolutely our right to make the choice.

I believe that the ONLY right time for the abortion is if having the child would kill both the mother and child. On rape: When a woman is tragically victimized by rape or incest, certainly the father of the child is guilty, but the unborn child is innocent. The right response to this wrong is legally punishing the guilty, not killing the innocent. Compassion for the victim should never obscure the principle of right and wrong. Two wrongs never make a right. Regardless of the father's identity, the woman is still the mother. Aborting the baby causes the woman to be victimized twice. From the moment of conception

There have been many debates about this question. I'm pro-life so I know what I would do if the baby posed a risk to my life or if I got raped I would not have an abortion. One thing I do know is when the sperm meets the egg that's life. And also two months after conception the embroyonic stage draws to a close. The 1-inch long embryo now has enough of a primitive nervous system to respond to a light touch, exhibiting a simple reflex movement. The stage of a fetus has begun it's no longer a embryo.

everyone has their own beliefs. you will never be able to change that. But these are extreme circumstances that you can only fairly answer if you are a rape victim or the dying mother. I personally could never carry a rapist child. And i am pro life. These are unfair questions to ask adrenaline filled people on a highly emotional topic. i will listen to an argument from a rape victim and a dead mother before i would listen to myself cause hell what do i know I'm not them. i would never want to force someone to do something they were not comfortable doing. And we have that right we live in America. Home of the free. I think abortion is wrong BUT>>> don't touch my freedom and if you take away abortion rights you take away my freedom to make my own choice. which is all most people want. Not an abortion in the first place. Good luck with your question.

A baby is a baby at conception. It will not be born a frog or a dog. Nature will abort the baby if it deems necessary. Outside intervention to abort a baby isn't using a play on words such as fetus, parasite, women's rights, etc.Abortion didn't happen because of Roe v. Wade. In fact she never had an abortion. The people that started making Abortion popular was Dr. Bernard Nathanson with Betty Friedan when they formed NARAL.There is one doctor that is responsible for more abortions than any other living person and that is Dr. Bernard Nathanson. He, and not any female thought up the terms that you hear so often:"Women must have control over their own bodies.""Safe and legal abortion is every woman's right.""Who decides? You decide!""Freedom of choice -- a basic American right."He says, "We were looking for some sexy, catchy slogans to capture public opinion.""I remember laughing when we made those slogans up," recalls Bernard Nathanson, M.D., co-founder of pro-abortion group NARAL, reminiscing about the early days of the pro-abortion movement in the late '60s and early '70s. Don't take the truth from amateurs, politicians and those hyping it up. Take the opinion from the man that started it all, performed more abortions than anyone in the word, and is a medical doctor. You wouldn't go to your dentist to have heart bypass surgery, you would go to a heart surgeon. And if you were lucky, you would go to the one that has done the most heart surgeries and the one that invented it.When you say, "what time is a child a child..." You are only asking that because Dr. Bernard Nathanson was the one that confused the public and even today after the 70's some people are still confused and ignorant of it.He says the third goal of the three falsehoods that him and NARAL promted was: "The third key tactic was the denigration and suppression of all scientific evidence that life begins at conception."What does Dr. Bernard Nathanson now say about abortion?"It is clear that permissive abortion is purposeful destruction of what is undeniably human life. It is an impermissible act of deadly violence."When Dr. Bernard Nathanson realized what he was doing, he stopped performing abortions and created a video called Silent Scream that shows what a mother's baby does when it is aborted. Here is where explains how he paved the pathway for Roe v. Wade. Roe v. Wade means absolutely nothing as someone was there to come forward with another court case if theirs failed. Abortion is all about Dr. Bernard Nathanson and Betty Friedan. It was not started for women's rights, but for the purpose of making money. Learn about the true history instead of those that have an agenda and you will know where you stand without having to follow anyone. You can follow your own conviction if you learn the history. NARAL: http://www.pregnantpause.org/abort/remember-naral.htmAnd the 3 key tactics to get abortion legalized:http://www.aboutabortions.com/Confess.htmlYou don't need any gory pictures to convince you... all you need is the truth. When we didn't have a stethoscope, we thought life begin at the first breath. When we didn't have an EEG, we thought life begin at the first heart beat. When we didn't have an CAT scans, we thought life begin at the first sign of electrical brain activity. When we didn't have in vitro fertilization we thought life begin at the first sign of chemical brain activity. So now we know that life begins at conception. And we've known that for over 30 years.Still, even those born "after" that full knowledge (those younger than 30), think as we did in the 1800's before the automobile was invented, that life begins with a beating heart. Why? Because of Dr. Bernard Nathanson's campaign to confuse young girls that medical science has not progressed anymore than before the invention of antibiotics. And the only reason was MONEY.More babies will be killed tomorrow in the USA than all the troops killed in Iraq total.More babies was killed yesterday the USA than all the troops killed in Iraq total.More babies will be killed the day after tomorrow in the USA than all the troops killed in Iraq total.Don't let the hype fool you... only 3% of abortions are needed due to health risks of the mother. About the same odds of dying of a stroke.Get informed so YOU will decide and not others for you.

1. If the baby poses a risk to the mothers life...I say it is her choice. My sister had an abortion because she was told by her doctors neither would survive. (She got many second opinions) She already had children and a husband. Why would she keep the child knowing that both of them would pass away anyhow? Is that fair to anyone?2. Rape...I feel it's again the woman's choice. I don't think it's right for the woman to have to carry the memory with her for 9 months to then hand it over to someone else. If the woman can do that...that is great, but alot of womem...how can they take care of themselves and the baby knowing the baby was conceived out of a horrible experience and be happy about it?3. I honestly can't tell you that. My opinion though is when the baby has a heartbeat it is then considered a baby. Before then, I think it is still cells forming. I could be wrong, but I have stated just my opinions. A baby is a baby though once in your tummy is it not? No matter what ? Or not?I do however think the women who use abortion as a contraceptive should be sterilized because that is wrong in any way shape or form. If you cant protect yourself from pregnancies by using a form of protection, you shouldn't be able to continue using abortions as a way out.
