actual cervical cancer? I'm so scared- This was my second abnormal pap and this time around doc wants a colposcopy, my HPV and pap were both abnormal. What should I expect? I keep reading in the internet about cervical CA, read that it is very preventable and curable, but I'm still scared...

I ended up not having any cancer cells. And my 2nd pap 6 months later came back normal. Two friend of mine had the pre cancer cells, so they "froze" the cervix and both are doing well.

On January 24, 2008 I will be 14 years cancer free. My cervical cancer was found when I was 7 months pregnant. I had a beautiful baby girl and then a radical hysterectomy. Because my cancer was found early, I never needed radiation or chemo. My daughter is now 14 and has completed the series of shots needed for the Gardisil Vaccine against certain types of cervical cancer. I do understand your fear but have faith in God. He is in control and has already placed good doctors in your path and I feel that they will do everything to help you.

not to worry if its diagnosed early mean more years of your life...don't just ignore this time make it confirm..

i agree with grandmadarcy as she said keep the faith and not loose your faith.
