People handle stress differently. Talk it out with someone. Handling problems are easier than you think. If you can't handle them please talk to someone.

1. Stay Organized. Get a planner, a PDA, whatever you need to keep track of what's going on in your life without having it spin through your head all day. Keep it with you all the time and write down every little to-do and appointment.2. Give yourself time to veg. Set aside 20-30 minutes every day, morning, noon, or night, to stay away from work and other everyday stresses and just do something you like to do. Read a book or magazine, go for a walk, play a video game, play solitaire, whatever you need to have a little bit of time just to yourself. 3. Excercise. Yeah, yeah, yeah, broken record on this excercise thing. Everyone says to do it, whether it's for your health, your weight, or your stress. But it's true; if you have a hard time finding time to break a sweat, combine it with some veg time and do some gardening or take a leisurely stroll. Or pick up a more structured class at a gym so that it feels more like an appointment and less optional. It's easy to find excercise that you love to do that can fit into your schedule; it just takes a little bit of time to find out what's the best fit for you.4. Find a mantra. When life just comes at you way too fast, breathe and say something positive to yourself. "Let's just take this one step at a time" or "The answer will find itself, I don't have to worry about it constantly." Taking a step back to look at your stresses in an objective light will show them to be a lot smaller than they really are. These are some of the changes in my life that I've made and I am significantly less high-strung than I used to be. I still can't call myself laid-back by any means, but they have made a huge difference and I feel so much better about myself.

This may sound cliche because it seems to be a common answer for a lot of things, but the most important thing you can do to handle stress is diet and EXERCISE. Exercise is the most important, in my opinion. I was having a really hard time at work and harbored a lot of resentment for the people I worked with and management. I was having constant migraines, and could not sleep well at night. I even developed TMJ problems, which I still have. However, they developed several years ago, although they have improved due to better stress management and a fantastic dentist. Side note: TMJ stands for the temporo-mandibular joint, which is found in your jaw. I clench my teeth at night and it seemed to be significantly worse when I was stressed. I started going to the gym and happened to get out on the racquetball court with a couple of friends. It was like magic for me. Knocking the fire out of a small blue ball for an hour was just what I needed in order to have an outlet for my stress. It made a huge difference in how I handled things at work and at home. I slept better, I had fewer headaches and most importantly, my stress level seemed to decline almost immediately.Racquetball may not be the answer for you, but I do believe that some form of exercise is. The trick is to find something that you enjoying doing. Do it for at least 30 minutes 3-5 times a week. I guarantee you will see a difference in how you handle your stress almost immediately.Good luck!

First of all, find out what is giving you stress. Then see what can be done about it.You can ask God to help you......and then thank Him that He will and is, in the meantime everytime it tries to get hold of you say NO I am not going there and start thinking about other things that you enjoy and get out and help other people if possible get your mind off of you. We have a little saying....for JOY first Jesus, then Others then You = JOY! It works, however it is a battle sometimes. Remember the battle is in your mind, so when we renew our minds that will lower the battle. People who are stressed out have battle fatigue and are overcome with circumstances and just want to give up, take drugs and think that is the answer. If you have a health issue there are solutions for that as well and it is not always aniti-biotics or running to the doctor for every little sniffle or sneeze, ache or pain. God made our bodies so that if we feed it right it will heal it self whether spiritually, or physically.Life is what you make it, and do with it.We are today what we said and did yesterday. The majority of people speak the problem and not the answer and then it manifests more and more. Find the answer and continue to speak that and not the problem. Now this may shock some people but a lot of people like to be sick, it gets them attention, where others like to compare with others that I am worse then you, you think you got problems, listen to this!!!!!Then there are others who blame God! He is not the problem and does not put sickness on anyone. He heals them. If they only Believe....some through prayer, doctors, or natural methods. He put the natural things on this earth to keep us healthy but man has polluted and added toxins, and preservatives which has almost killed the original. There is always a solution to every problem.Be encouraged if you take care of your spirit, your soul will feel better therefore able to deal with your body.If you want help I am here

Stress is normal. Too much stress is abnormal. Handling too much stress is best done by making lists. Write down what you get stress from. If you see an increase go talk with a professional. If you see a decrease you found out your own solution to handle stress

Take time out for yourself more often. Exercise...go to the gym & have a good workout. When I went to college I was always studying always craming for test's or presentations. Besides college I worked. The stress was there......I had a good friend that got me into meditating. Meditation helps an individual to stay more calm at all times & helps us deal with handling stress in a more productive way. If ever you get the opportunity to learn or take a "Transedental Meditation" workshop do it. I recommend it for everyone. ...If at all possible avoid caffeine products, starches, sugar, these will only promote anxiety if you are under alot of stress.
