and some cramps and bearing down pains? without worst case scenarios how long would you predict i have to go

I'd say a couple of days at least, sounds like it's going to be a slow worn out labour.

It might all suddenly "kick off" or you might have a few days left... I was in labour with my eldest for three days... it was very slow.If you wanna speed things up try drinking raspberry leaf tea, it helps the cervix ;o)
wow I'm affraid along time. Is this your first cos that takes ages if not then. Not as long.My first I was 2cm dilated at 9 one morning I didn't have him till 12 noon the next day.Good luck and congratulations!!!!

i was 1cm at 10am monday 12 38pm dinnertime tuesday my son was born..

how long is a pice of string???? I was 10 hours in labour from start to finish 1cm per hour. with my first child

1cm is nothing love. Once you have had one baby they say the cervix is allways 2cm dilated, which is also nothing to worry about. When you are in alot more pain, and contractions are 4 minuites apart then go to hospital, unless your waters break first then just go anyway, but don't wait for that as they don't allways break naturally. good luck.

at least another 21 years but they will keep coming back for something lol. enjoy the moment this is the easy bit
