...asthma attack? I've been getting asthma attacks since Friday. I'm afraid to go to sleep because I might not wake up to take my inhaler.

Kylee, I hope you went to the Urgent Care clinic, or emergency room when you began to have them. You are very unlikely to die from an attack in your sleep. We need to breathe, and when an asthma attack occurs, we naturally wake up. Keep your inhaler near your bed so you don't have to get out of bed to use it. Double check with your doctor about your fears, and be sure your prescription is up to date and meets your current needs. And sleep easy.

I often wondered that too. I asked my doctor and he told me that if your feel that tight in the chest I should take pregnazone steroid to open me up. Ask your doctor about that in the mean time I would say you should wake up the problem once your up is get enough of the inhaler in before you get to tight. I use advair as well as my inhaler. you only hit it twice a day and I have been good since I started using it. I don't even carry my inhaler around any more.

You might but you will not know about it. The best thing to stay alive longer is to NEVER go to sleep. Are you still alive as its been 3 days since you asked?
