HeyMy cat dumpy is lovely, she is cudley and completely adorable. She is almost a year old now and has always been the same. However when i sit down she jumps on me, arms wrapped round my kneck, rubbing her face on mine and wont let go. I wouldnt change her for the world! But i just wanted to know if this is normal and will she grow out of it? If i go to get a drink or have to go out she wont let me put her down she clings to me, and when im asleep she sleeps next to me. When she wants me to wke up she will tap my face gently, (which is better than my other cat she wipes her teeth on me or tries to lick my eye!!!).So is this normal? or a bit weird? As i said i love her the way she is and would never change her. Thanks for all the answers, at least i know im not alone lol.she is on me know, arms round me, pushed my face to the side and resting her head on my face everytime i go to move my head i get it pshed back lol. Thanks

I think it's adorable!!! My cat jumps on me too (not quite as much as yours by the sound of it!) but I think they just love affection!!Oh to be loved like that, lucky you!

what a nice problem to have! :) but in case you need to get some work done or something (and in case she deep down wishes for a little more indepent-mindedness), you could give her a homeopathic remedy called 'pulsatilla'. you could order it on the web. just search "homeopathy""pulsatilla".
