...or known anyone who has? What is it like being drunk? don't worry i;m not doing anything its just i need to know for a short story i'm writing about a violent alcoholic for school so help will be appreciated like what does it taste like and how do you feel when you are drunk psychologically and physically and what does a hangover feel like? if you have experience with this that would be helpfulthanks!

About half of my friends are alcoholics, and it isn't very pretty.Being drunk is an adventure......You have no concept of the passage of time, your thoughts are disordered, your inhibitions no longer exist, and try as you might it is impossible to walk straight.A hangover, on the other hand, is the closest most people will come to experiencing Hell on Earth. For openers, you have the worst headache imaginable which is intensified by noise, bright light and being out in the heat. Your mouth and throat are horribly dry and no matter how much water you drink it never seems to be enough. That is a summary on what it is like to both be drunk and to have a hangover.

Yes a friends brother has been drinking since he was 13 and he is a 21 year old alcoholic. He drinks a huge bottle of vodka and when he can't get a hold of any alcohol he drinks huge bottles of mouthwash to get drunk. He is very verbally abusive when he is drunk and then becomes suicidal.
