MENINGITIS !!! PLEASE HELP PLEASE HEALTh NECK !!!!?

Hello Everyone! Okay when i woke up this morning i think i was fine, well my nose was stuffed up etc ..but nothing serioius. ..but around 6ish 7 pm i took a nap and when i woke up my neck on the left side hurts really bad , it feels like i pulled something ..but im not sure and i don't want to take it serious if its nothing ...I don't know if i pulled it in my sleep , but when i turn my head / neck i feel like something is popping and it hurts really bad ...Do i have meningitis ..I have always had a fear of this illness but i doubt thats what it is...please help ! Thanks so much !

This is something I can't answer without seeing you! It probably is a stiff neck from sleeping on it wrong but, just to be safe, you should call your doc or ER/urgent care. They can assess your situation and recommend your next course of action. If it is meningitis, the sooner your are diagnosed, the better.I am concerned since you did write that you were "stuffed up" this morning.
