I recently came off of a drinking binge of 4 days straight drinking wine and vodka. Big mistake, I don't know what I was thinking but I havent had any alcohol since this past Thursday morning and I have been suffering since feeling like I was going to die. I am past the hard part but this morning Monday I woke up with severe pain in my back? Why didnt I have this pain any of the other days. Also I have been drinking gatorade, pedialyte, and lots of water every day. Today was the first day I was able to go outside. Will my back get better or should I seek medical attention. Also I took one tylenol but the pain is still there.Oh also is it bad to drink too much gatorade and pedialyte in one day. I drink have been drinking a 10 pack of gatorade a day and 2 bottles of pedialyte as well as lots of water.I thought it could be my kidneys but my whole back hurts even up to my neck and shoulders. Also I thought maybe too much sugar from the gatorade. I guess I will go to water.

ok, the obvious thing will to go to your doctor, it sounds like your drinking too much fluids. but still, this sounds pretty bad, go to your doctor. but first, quit all fluids but water, i think that might do you a bit of good.

Stop drinking so much Gatorade and pedialyte, and start drinking water. Gatorade is just glorified sugar flavored water, and pedialyte does help with dehydration, but nothing can compare to good old water. Drinks lots of it, and flush the system of toxinsAs far as your back pain, who knows. Anytime you withdraw from addictive type substances, your body can react and give you all sorts of aches and pains. Continue taking tylenol as prescribed on the label, and if it doesn't change in the next 2-3 days, see you local physician for an exam.Stop drinking - you'll live longer and enjoy life so much more.
