person who is a pain in the @$$? Just wondering why everywhere I have worked in my life there has always been that one person. You know who I'm talking about. The one who is difficult and hard to get along with. If there is no such person at your workplace maybe it's because you are that person. Then this question doesn't apply to you. How do you guys deal with these type of people?

You are rite, at every job I've had there is always one. I have learned to ignore their B.S. Everyone else knows they are a pain. Do your Job well, and that will work totally in your favor.

Cause if there was no boss there would be no job.

Avoid them as much as possible. If you can't well try to be polite.

I work around them. I am civil but not friendly with them.

It depends on how you see this person. Try seeing this person in positive way. People are like mirror reflection. He just act bullshit to you because you think he is like that since the beginning when you meet him. Remove that bad perspective and try to see him from good perspective. Thing will improve in your work area better when you have better relationship with your work mate.

avoid that person like the plague. You know they just irritate you, and trying to pretend they dont is looking for trouble. You only have to be civil to the person, you dont have to be friends. After all, like I always say- I go to work to make money, not friends. Be civil, deal with them when necessary, but otherwise, avoid them.

As soon as I started reading this question, one person came to mind that I work with, and this is horrible. I avoid her like the plague, but when I do have to talk/work with her I keep it as short and simple as possible. The worst part of it all is when I do have to talk to her, that night I usually have a dream that I punch her or something like that. All of my buddies here at work that I tell that to think it is hysterical, but I am always prepared for her to walk up to me and talk to me at any point in the day, and the fact that I am pregnant so she wants to know like every aspect of my pregnant life is really setting me crazy ha ha. I think I hear her coming now.I bet you get some good feed back on this one.
