...give her for coughing. She is on antibiotics and has been w my dog is 8 years old and has bronchities, and coughs so bad, what can I give her for the coughing, I feel so helpless when shes coughing. She is on antibiotics now 2 times a day.

You can safely give her a child's cough medicine. Read the label as you don't want it to have alcohol in it, but children's cough syrup doesn't.
