I eat pretty well excluding the occassional treat... Im a vegetarian and am very mindful or getting my protein. With that in mind... Ive been so busy I havent been able to excersize so I started walking to class/run errands/etc every day and I feel great. Since I dont have time due attend a gym I's say I walk between 1-2 miles a day. I weight 145 so if I do this everyday how much estimated weight could I loose in a certain amount of time?Just curious. Thanks :)*Sorry about my typos :)*I carry books in my hands do those count as weights? Haha. *And I dont eat white flour/startches or sugar (unless Im PMSing haha)*Thanks so far!

It might not be enough if you want to lose weight.Walking is GREAT though, so keep it up. You may have to step it up a notch and include bouts of jogging with your walking.I suggest doing some exercises that get the legs moving, such as walking, jogging, running, swimming or bike riding. These exercises that really get your heart pumping will burn the weight off quickly.I like push ups, yoga stretches, pull ups, crunches, curl ups, leg stretches, calf raises, and squats as far as being good toning exercises that use no equipment and cost zero money to perform.I like taking some dumbbells and doing some easy bicep curls, military presses, and lateral raises.I think diet is important also and try to eat healthy home-cooked meals with lots of vegetables in them.I try to stay away from the pop and sugar, candy, white flour products, and fast food.I try to get a good night's sleep each night

you might lose weight by walking, but you might could not lose at all.
I ever walk about 3 km per day, and I do the walking in the morning, and I keep for about one month, so I didn't lose any kgs.

As you have some good mind to reduce your body weight, you would surely have loss in weight if you accompany walking with a few other things like mild exercise.
Good that you already stopped the fat responsible food materials, and now try to be more with raw vegetables. And if you can cut out some time for early morning, jogging would be adviced.
