I am pregnant with my 3rd child. And I am going to be admitted to the hospital on wednesday dec.5. I went to the doc tuesday and he said i am 2 cm dialated and my cervics are soft etc. My question is when i go to pee pee I get this bad pressure in my lower abdomen below my belly button and above my pubic area (if that paints a pic). I dont get to much pressure or pain in my vagina while peeing. Also I keep getting this bad pain in my left butt check (when I walk it feels like my leg gives out everytime i put pressure on my left leg. I have never had this problem with my other 2 children. And like i said I am going to be admitted to the hospital on wednesday to have my baby. Does anyone have this problem? Do you think its an effection? Everytime i got to the doc i have to pee in a cup so i was thinking if it was an effection they would have detected it in my urine while i was there. right?

Just tell your doctor and maybe he could give you a straight hones answer...and probably will be able to do somthing about it.=]

well i know that the pain in your left side is probably from your sienic nerve (spell check) its a nerve in your back that the baby is probably just pushing on and making it painful and weird feeling

the pain in your left butt cheek and down your leg when you walk is probably a sciatic nerve (pronounced SIGH-ATTIC)... I had this when I was pregnant and for a while after I had my kids.. check out this website, it doesn't say much about pain in the rear area, but I had it too..http://www.americanpregnancy.org/pregnancyhealth/sciaticnervepain.htmlAnd the pressure, probably has to do with this as well. If you're about due - I'm sure the baby is putting pressure everywhere, he/she is running out of room to grow!! :)Congrats and good luck! :)

the baby is probably on the sciatic nerve.. and his or her weight is affecting it.. call the doc..prob will tell you to keep off ur feet and rest

if i stand over the toilet when i go pee, i feel the lower pressure under belly button above pubic bone. i think that 's just cuz she's there in me. im 27 weeks.sometimes my buttcheek hurts too and sometimes it hurts in my rectum like painful twitches. but i have no other indication myself that i have hemmorids.
