hm.. well Stress can be a reason. A change in a diet. Weight gain or weight loss. Depression. I have irregular periods too.. mine is from weight loss. Hope it helps..:) if anything ask your doctor about it... it does wonders! :)

sex has nothing to do with your cycle mention it to your gyn doc or fam doc, it may just be a hormonal imbalance they might suggest a pill , such as birth control, to regulate it - make an informed decision

firstly having sex or not has nothing to do with the regularity of your period. unless you get pregnant. there are many things than can upset the balance. strict diets can often alter ones 'workings'. that would be my first thought.it could be due to an abnormallity in your cervix (worse case, don't want to freak you out) but to be sure i'd see your doctor.

Some times if you are a little over weight ( which i don't know if you are) the more you weigh the more your body is producing estrogen which is causing your uterus to shed less frequently. If you are about what you should weigh i would say go to the doctors and see if you might have a seroius problem or some thing eles they would have more in formation. Also sometimes if you hang out with different females your body may be picking up mixed signals from the other females around you. When you hang out with another female your period will change to start when hers does.....
