the cough, do u smoke?? that mat be a big factor. with the joint prob. it my be arthritis. try talking to your doc about Celebrex.

Aspertame is an artifical sweetner used in diet sodas and some low fat foods. About a year ago I had stiff joints (to the point I could bearly move), headaches, my vision was getting blurry, mood swings, and I just felt miserable. I went to the Doctor and the usual tests were performed. My doctor was at a loss - all tests were normal. I had looked up Aspertame on the internet and found a long list of side affects. Needless to say, I quit drinking diet soda, quit eating foods and any product associated with the artifical sweetner -Aspertame. Just about everything I ate or drank had some Aspertame in it so I did go through some withdrawl. Splenda is a safe natural sweetner and I use it all the time. There are diet sodas that are made with Splenda such as 7-up plus (which is the only one I have found so far).As for the cronic cough, it may be a side affect. I also had chills and hot flashes. Look up Aspertame on the internet and it will give you about 3 pages of side affects related to it.Good luck!Oh yes, I feel great now.
