...you want to do if 100% of pregnant women wanted abortions? There are many credible arguments that this is a private matter, but if all women decided on abortions, after a while society would vanish. So, what would you do?Those who want to dispute the likelyhood of the hypothetical coming to pass aren't really answering the question. That's why it's called a hypothetical - it doesn't have to be imminent, or even a real possibility.

Nothing. It's none of my business.

Yes, it would end population growth and, continued, kill off this hypothetical society. So what? Do you suspect all women of being a hair's breadth away from uniting to end civilization? Is this some sort of commentary on the abortion issue? Am I supposed to wail; "Oh, all those wonderful fetuses chopped down before they had a life to be in the prime of! Oh, the not yet humanity!"?

Not gonna happenBut if it does, they'll come up with regulations against it.Like alist of reasons you can have an abortion.eg: if the pregnancy is not safe for the mother.

Yikes. Well, thank God for amnesty for illegal aliens.Actually, the question isn't as far-fetched as some would have us believe. Wasn't it the Shakers who believed that sex - even for procreation - was wrong? As a result, at least within the group, the Shakers abstained from intercourse. You don't come across a lot of YOUNG Shakers these days. The result of such a demand presented in your hypothetical would be the eventual elimination of the culture involved. It might still be able to recruit new members for a while, but it would ultimately be untenable.

Yes, it would end our human population. People are going to flip and and "remind" everyone that it's hypothetical to ease their own consciences. Hate to tell ya, but it's murder no matter how you look at it. But I won't condemn anyone for their opinion on the matter. God will.

It's our bodies, it's our choice.Look, men have been running out on women and their children for thousands of years because they couldn't handle the responsibility. So then the women were accountable for having a roof over every ones head, clothing, and food on the table. Even when they had no education or working skills. It's easy for a man to walk away from a pregnant woman. The woman doesn't have that choice. So either she gets an abortion or carries out the pregnancy. Our world is over populated. People are starving to death as is. Clean water is unavailable. Thousands of kids are orphans due to AIDS.So until we can get the other issues squared away, let there be abortions.

An absurd hypothetical demands an equally absurd answer ;-)I would startup a company that would raise fully developed fetuses in a lab and start selling the lab grown newborns to those that would want a child. If no one wanted a child then I could get a giant bloated government contract to grow new people on farms. It would be a fantastic opportunity to get filthy stinking rich.I would need a catchy name like Newbies or Human Resources, Inc.To bad Babies-R'-Us is taken! It is the right of women to decide what happens with their bodies. Regardless of hypothetical’s nothing supplants the right of the individual to have control of their own body. (That is, unless of course ,they commit a crime like murder – but that requires Due Process as defined by the constitution and that applies to both men and women).
