Just trying to find out how serious this seems. If I need to go seek medical attention, and if medical attention would even help now?Same as alot of answers & questions I found here about skin problems. Around my Neck, Back, and Chest are Red Blotches.http://shawnsskin.50webs.com

That looks terrible. See a doctor, soon. If you are on any medications stop them now! If you have changed laundry detergent, soaps or added anything new or unusual to your diet report that to your doctor. In the meantime take some benedryl or rub some hydrocotisone cream on your skin. Good luck.

if they are itchy it could be eczema if not i would guess an alergic reaction but sometimes its just heat rasheczema is itchy sometimes with little blisters then the skin is very dry, patches in circular could be psoriasis it can be scaley and itchy or painful and very dryalergy can be welts in other words hives they spread quickly and become itchy and swollen as well as red or white in the centerheat rash is just a rash and sometimes uncomfortable it is moist and in areas that are exposed to moisture alot it can burn and spread as well either way try a aveeno or other oatmeal soak and do not use perfumed creams instead try an unscented 1 or a corn starch based powder see if that helpsPS i just noticed the picture that looks like hives oh yes it IS hives you are alergic to something you are eating or using or you could be very nervous and stressed the only thing a doctor can help you with is some itch meds and for inflamation i suffer from hives and no matter how many tests doc orders on me theres yet to find the cause so i use benedryll it does help he may prescribe prednisone which does help with the spreading and suchbut seriously i hate to tell you this but a doctor wont help you much it isnt serious as long as it isnt on your throat they will go away but can come back when you repeat the offending things stay calm and take benedryll you will get better trust me

It may be an allergic reaction. Just ask your doctor about it, best to get his opinion and get proper medical treatment. Or you can click on http://www.skinoriginal.com/psoriasis/9-eczemaandpsoriasis.htm to know more about it.
