Do I have meningitis?

I've had a headache (back of the head and at my temples) for about two and half days straight. The pain goes down to the back of my neck and it hurts to turn my head, touch my chin to my chest or look up. I also have a sore throat. I know pain in the back of the neck is a sign of meningitis, but if I had that I think I'd already be dead, right? Any insight is appreciated. Thanks.

You could have swollen glands or a throat infection coming. However you must check it with your doctor just to make sure. If you feel pain with light and get a rash that won't disappear if you put a glass to it, go to A+E.

It sounds like a severe throat infevtion with headache, if it bothers you I would go to the doctor....just to make sure.
